We have “value added” to the Blacksmith & Engineering Museum recently by adding on a large repurposed shed behind the original Blacksmith workshop which is now full of a wide range of engines and historical machinery. Most of these can be operated when our engine experts are present, on most days.

Step back in time as you tour through this functioning blacksmith and engineering workshop: still in its original state from the 1935 to 1976 era.

Open 2pm to 4pm on the fourth Sunday of each month and also on the second Sunday from September to April. Alternatively, arrange a visit at any time by phoning Ian on (08) 86882037 or 0429635648 – David 0427215293 – Rex 0418335206

A coke-fired forge is usually burning on open days with souvenir items being produced. A range of old, rare engineering machinery, still in working order, can be seen.

Souvenirs and information booklets are available for purchase.
