Tumby Bay Skills Centre

The building was erected in collaboration with the Tumby Bay Area School, local olive growers and the Tumby Bay District Council. The centre boasts an operational olive press, arts, gift store, commercial kitchen, large meeting room, community garden and activities designed for a range of people transitioning into and from the workforce. SCION is the name for a detached shoot or twig containing buds from a woody plant that is grafted onto a stick. It also stands for School, Community, Industry, Olives, and Enterprise.
