By 1910/11 Ungarra was a focal point for it’s farming community with a Post Office and School. Then the railway arrived which broadened its scope. There were a number of shops, garages and agriculture stores thru the 20th Century until farming changed to bigger acreages and machines. Today few of these services remain.
